    IP Introduction

Headeun, an investigative reporter, happens to be in the neighborhood when a brick falls from a rooftop and injures a woman known as the neighborhood's crazy cat lady. Shortly afterward, a nearby incident comes to light in which a second-year middle school student is suspected of killing his mother and leaving her body unattended. Headeun manages to turn public opinion around after discovering that the boy was a young caregiver. However, the case takes an unexpected turn when the boy’s journal is found shortly afterward. The inexplicable details of the case, the improbable stories, and the boy everyone believes to be the culprit. Headeun suspects there are hidden truths behind the case and begins retracing the boy’s steps to uncover them and discovers why he remains silent. Headeun pieces together the clues, using his imagination to fill in the gaps between the facts gathered from witness accounts, police records, and the boy’s notebook, much like a story is constructed in a novel. A connection finally emerges between the death of the boy’s mother and the crazy cat lady incident. Yet another incident then comes to light. What will Headeun do after uncovering the truth about the boy? Can he return to writing this story? Can he change the future and start over in reality?
